Once again, George and Harold's antics get them in way over their heads. Their teacher has quit, and now the school needs a new one. Enter Professor Pippy P. Poopypants. Don't laugh, in his country his name is quite revered. Unfortunately, he doesn't have quite the same reception in America; no one can take him seriously because of his silly name! And with George and Harold around to make fun of him, he'll never hear the end of it! Driven over the edge, he uses his genius skills to shrink the school and begin plans for world conquest...and name changing. Captain Underpants has his work cut out for him this time!
This book begins to take the Captain Underpants series to a whole new level. The humor is a lot sharper and the action is a lot more intense (you'll understand why if you read the end of book three). The art is also showing considerable improvement (at least as much as a book with such a simplistic drawing style can improve). The series continues to improve with no end in sight.
