I bought this Camper's Axe as a gift on the recommendation of the salesperson and several burly guys standing around at Cabela's.

It is a high quality axe that can be used for a range of activities. It can be used for chopping down trees, splitting firewood, and driving stakes or nails. It is nicely balanced and at a weight of about 3.5 pounds, it is easy to carry around.

This Camper's Axe has an overall length of 26 inches. The shaft and head are fully polished and are made with a single piece of tool steel. The 4 inch cutting edge easily makes fast and deep cuts.

The nylon vinyl shock reduction handle provides a firm non-slip grip. A leather belt sheath is included for safe storage and easy transport. It is a very nice looking axe and with proper treatment it should last a lifetime.

Estwing Tools have been made in Rockford, Illinois for more than 85 years. They make high quality hammers, axes, and geologist tools. The single piece construction and the patented shock reduction handle (both on this axe) are two features included in many of their products.

The Estwing Camper's Axe is an attractive and useful tool.
