A while back, my husband had purchased a walking cane for his brother because he was having back problems. Now, because of his toe amputation, my husband is making use of this cane.

It is a Carex Walking Cane, about $15.00 - $20.00 at Walmart, and for an inexpensive cane it doesn't do a bad job. It gives support when you are walking to take the pressure off of your back or foot, whatever the situation calls for. It is adjustable and has a rubber tip and foam padding on the handle to make it easier and more comfortable to hold. It also has a wrist strap.

My husband has to stay off of his foot, but when he needs to go back and forth to the bathroom, he uses this cane. It helps him to keep weight off of his foot so that the foot can heal, and it also helps him to keep his balance.

The cane is relatively sturdy and seems to do the job for my husband when he uses it.

If you are looking for a relatively good bargain in a cane, I would recommend the Carex Walking Cane.
