I really enjoyed my first cruise with Carnival. I enjoyed it so much that I went back eight months later. I always thought a cruise was only for the rich. I was wrong! It was only $400.00 for five days and five nights. I loved the way the payment was set up. I planned the cruise six months in advance which I would suggest. At that time I put down $200.00 which is minimum. I had to pay the rest three months later. I then had three months to save for other expenses. The cruise itself was an amazing experience. All of the workers on the ship were great pampering the guests. I have never eaten as much as I ate on the ship. There was a twenty four pizzaria which served great food. The food in the cafeteria was a little bland but still good. My favorite part of the entire cruise was the evening dining which was a more formal setting. Our waiters were wonderful! They were very friendly and ready to serve. I enjoyed each night, being able to select the type of food I wanted at the four course meal. There was a wide range of entertainment on the ship. My favorites were the little broadway type shows which were a little cheesy but still entertaining. The pools were a little too small but it was nice lounging around the pool area.
