When my first son was born, I had such a hard time finding socks that would stay on his feet. His feet weren't even small - in fact, they were pretty big. He had wonderfully chubby legs and feet and still socks would not stay on his feet. I finally found Carter's Bubble Socks and I have never looked back.

Carter's Bubble Socks can be found at Carter's stores, Kohl's, and Babies R Us. I'm sure they retail at other stores but these are the only stores I have seen them at. The socks come in a variety of colors and sizes. They have socks for baby boys or girls. The socks I most recently purchased have puppy dog and football appliques on the cuff. They are called bubble socks because they have cute "bubbles" of color on the trim of the socks. The socks have a folded top.

These socks are near impossible for little babies to kick off. I've never had an instance where my babies were able to take these socks off. The one problem that you can run into with these socks is that if you have a baby with chubby legs (like mine), the socks can seem to cut into their skin and leave indention. This was a problem I encountered with my second and even chubbier baby. I was able to ease this issue by buying the next size up in socks.

My only issue with these socks is that Carter's doesn't print the size of the socks in non-skid material on the soles. This is an issue since I had socks in 0-3 month sizes and 3-6 month and 6-12 month sizes. If the sizes were printed on the soles, it would make them much easier to use.

I am extremely happy with Carter's Bubble Socks. In fact, I often give these socks as presents at baby showers.
