Casino stars Robert DeNiro, Sharon Stone and Joe Pesci, and deals with the mob's affiliation with casinos in Las Vegas in 1973. I have the widescreen version, and the movie is 2 hours and 59 minutes long. It is rated R, so it isn't for family viewing. There is some very strong language in this movie.
Casino is actually based on facts, and it gives us a bird's-eye view of Mob dealings in Vegas casinos. I found the movie interesting, and the acting was great. There aren't as many bonus features on this DVD as some other collections have, but what there are include production notes, cast and filmmakers' bios, film highlights and theatrical trailer.
I enjoyed Casino and have seen it several times. It tells an interesting story and goes into the lives of some of the mob members. I also like Robert DeNiro, and he and Sharon Stone are great as husband and wife in a very tumultuous relationship.
Overall, an interesting movie, just about 3 hours long, with great acting from a great cast.
