The Caslon name is one I look for when I shop at my favorite department store, Nordstrom. Every top I have bought with that name has lasted well and been very comfortable. While the brand is not the most expensive offered at Nordstrom (by any means!), it is still a little steep. I've learned, though, that to pay a little more for a quality garment makes good sense in the long run.
With that said, I'm excited to have ‘scored' this great sweater at the Nordstrom Rack for only $13.99! I know it must have started out in the department store for at least $45.00. Nordstrom sends it's unsold items to "the Rack" at season's end, where they are sold for a fraction of the original price. I generally look for classic styles there for clothes that aren't going to be out of style any time soon.
My sweater is in the "hoodie" style, but is definitely not a sweatshirt. It zips, has slash side pockets, and a hood. Because it is a cotton knit it is dressier than a sweatshirt, yet just as comfortable. It is machine washable, but I air dry it for just a few minutes and then dry it flat. It comes out great.
This hot pink sweater has a knitted-in pattern making it interesting texturally. This fall will be my second season with it, and it still looks like new.
