Now that summer is here, I am wearing more shorts and skirts to sty cool. This means my feet are more visible and I can't get away with just wearing the same shoes to blend into my outfit. I have to figure out what shoes look best on my feet and with the outfit. Uggg!
I found these cute little sandals at Cato and was instantly drawn to them. I love the fact that they are black and white, meaning that they can go with just about any outfit, but still have a cute flare to them.
The flower on the top is made of a dual layer of one black and one white layer of leather. The edges of the white part of the flower has black stitching, making it really "pop"! In the center of the flower is a small silver button with some decorative marking on it.
The sandal is held on to the foot by sliding your foot under the flower and having 4 straps come down around the side of your foot. There is a little strap that goes between your big toe and second toe too. The straps are leather and a bit snug to get into, but they are flexible enough that they give comfortably when you walk.
I do not like heals much at all. I can wear small heals, but prefer flats or small wedges. These sandals are great because they are flat. There is a tiny little "heal" on them, but it is only about ¼" high. There is no padding on the bottom of the sandals though, I would have liked at least a little for comfort.
I have only worn these a couple times so far, and it was for events where I did not have to do a lot of walking. They have been great so far, but I don't think I would want to wear them as casual shoes. I think walking around in them all day would end up hurting the bottoms of your feet due to how flat they are, no with no padding.
