I burn CDs each week from our Pastor's Sunday sermons and I recently had a problem with Memorex CDs that were purchased for me. I had received a 100 pack of them and no matter which software program I used, the CDs would burn to 16% and then stop. I finally asked that they get me new CDs to burn and return these Memorex brand, along with the partially burned CDs. Even the software I was using stated it could be the brand of CD.

I was able to purchase 2 - 50 packs of Maxell CDs from Office Depot. I held my breath as I put the first CD in and it burned beautifully. Then I proceeded to burn several more sermons onto these CDs and had no problems at all.

These are 50 CDs that come on the typical spindle and hold 700MB or 80 minutes of media. Our Pastor holds two Sunday services and unfortunately, his sermons are at least 45 minutes long, so I can only burn one sermon per CD. But that's ok, as it allows me to separate the morning from the evening services to those who don't want both.

I hightly recommend this brand of CD and have burned on the following software programs: Media Player, Roxio, Real Player and Nero. What amazed me the most is that when I tried the Memorex brand none of these software programs worked, but with the Maxell brand, I have been able to burn on any of these softwares.

So, if you have a problem burning CDs, try Maxell and I am sure they will work for you too.
