Well for many of you acne sufferers or anyone just looking for a face wash then you've probably come across Cetaphil in the aisle of your local facial product supplier store. Now I fist have to commend Cetaphil for making the normal to oily cleanser because it most likely never broke me out......EVER!
Its by far the gentlest cleanser I've ever used in my life as well. Now the bad part. Cetaphil failed to get rid of a single spot on my face so what it really is is a barrier against your acne.Meaning that while it wont break you out it wont help that significantly to clear up your spots. Its sort of keeping your acne at bay.I found this to be a big let down after I found Cetaphil to be one of the few brands not pushing their product for sale during every commercial break on TV.
Now, I believe that if acne is not your main concern then this product was designed for your skin.A little known fact is that some of the top make up artists add some baking soda to a squirt of cetaphil in their hands for a great exfoliater. While I havent tried baking soda as an exfoliater I know that it is indeed a great way to exfoliate your skin every few days to get rid of those built up pollutants on your face.
So the final verdict, buy it if you have relatively clear skin but don't buy it if you have active acne.
