My daughter recevently dealt with a severe case of chapped lips. They were like nothing I had ever seen before and we aren't exactly sure how they got so bad. We're thinking it was from drooling in her sleep with the fan blowing on her because she woke up that way. They were super sore, dry, and puffy and all the items we had at home weren't helping. Most of them, such as blistex and carmex burned her tender lips.

We ran to Target and dicovered Chapstick had an overnight lip treatment for severe chapped lips. I though $2.99 was a little pricey for a small tube that just looked like a tube of vaseline or carmex, but after spending almost a half an hour in the aisle, we decided it was the best prospect.

My daughter put it on immediately - her lips were too sore and dry to wait for nighttime. She said it felt like butter going on. There was no flavor or scent, just a nice moisturizing layer of ointment. She put more on at night and the next morning her lips were starting to look much better and she said they barely hurt. She continued to use the product a few times that day and by the next morning her lips were back to normal.

We've since kept a tube in our medicine cabinet. It works great and is a terrific product from a well know, quality company.
