My 2 and 3 year old daughters are artists. They love to draw and write. My 3 year old is at the point where she can actually draw shapes and people or animals. My 2 year old is still experimenting with scribbling.
With how much they like to draw (most of the time they do draw off the paper unless you have a large piece of paper), I figure why not let them bring there talent of drawing outside where they have tons of space they can draw on.
We got them this what I thought was a very cheap set of sidewalk jumbo chalk. I figure I will go cheap considering it would either get lost, broken, or rained on. To my surprise this $1.00 was very well spend.
This is a 20 piece jumbo sidewalk chalk set, you get 5 pieces of 5 different colors of chalk, all in this nice convenient plastic container, with a lid(top) and a little carrying handle.
This chalk has turned out to be very durable for the price, it does take a lot of dropping for one of them to break in half, the plastic container has saved the chalk many times when it was forgotten outside and we had an unexpected down pour, and the little handle is great for my daughters to be able to bring the container around with them as they are drawing. I don't find these of any less quality then other brand names.
Bottom line, this is an item that I bought cheap and got the same quality as if I had bought a more expensive brand.
