When I was last at Radioshack buying some needed things, I picked up two packs of chewing gum. One pack was in Original Flavor. I didn't necessarily think an electronics store would stock candy, especially this one, since it was a particularly small Radioshack. Luckily they did, because I was jonesing for something to chew on and freshen my breath.
Each piece tastes minty, specifically like peppermint, and is pleasingly sweet. I found a piece of gum kept its flavor for about 26 minutes. At that point, it became much less sweet and minty. Once I got rid of the gum, my mouth felt cool when I inhaled.
I like the envelope-style closure of the box. The pack has eighteen sticks in it. That means each stick costs approximately $0.06. The pieces are small. This size seems typical of Trident gum. I usually prefer larger pieces of gum, but since the flavor is good, I don't really mind.
I would re-purchase this gum. It's tasty and cooling. It seems to hold its flavor well enough. Another positive is that it is low-calorie. One stick is less than 5 calories. I also like that chewing this gum after eating, helps to clean and safeguard teeth. Supposedly by using it, it helps to counteract cavities. I like to choose better alternatives when I can.
