I was at Party City the other evening and they were going out of business so I made a sweep of the store. Well when I got to the candy isle it was marked down too. I saw this box of Bogdon's chocolates and after examining the box found out it was not just chocolate. They were the candy sticks that my daughter likes. In a way they are similar to candy canes only these are straight up and down and come in more flavors. This box was 2 5/8 ounces with four flavor sticks that are dipped in chocolate. Some of the sticks are yellow which is lemon flavored, some have green stripes which are mint flavor, the red stripes are cinnamon and the orange stripes are orange flavor. One their own they have a great flavor but when you at the chocolate flavor they are irresistible. I found the flavor to be mild and not bitty at all. The chocolate with just enough to add that something special to the flavor without over whelming it with chocolate flavor alone.

These sticks are about six inches of pure delight. Each stick however, is 70 calories.

sugar, corn syrup, palm kernel oil, cocoa processed with alkali, soy lecithin, natural and artificial flavors, yellow 5, yellow 6, blue 1, blue 2, and red 40, milk and salt.

I know these ingredients do not sound great but the candy sure tastes good to me. We do not eat a lot of the candy mainly because you can not buy it everywhere. However, I think it is worth a few calories just because of the taste.
