"Christianity Today" is a magazine that is read mostly by those who consider themselves to be Evangelical Christians, which means that everything is going to be geared towards a very conservative viewpoint. I like to read it in order to get a unique perspective on current events that mainstream magazines and other media ignore or downplay. The goals of "Christianity Today" seem to inspire and encourage Christian believers to make a difference in the world. It deals with such things as contemporary culture, politics, faith and family issues, church leadership roles, doctrine and more. If you are seeking objective middle-of-the-road journalism here, "Christianity Today" is not going to be your cup of tea. This publication has a definite, unapologetic opinion, fueled by its personal religious beliefs. Still it is a well-written, thought-provoking magazine that people who share a belief in Christ will want to read. While I haven't agreed with every single thing I've read in it, I greatly respect "Christianity Today" and will continue to read it.
