This Christmas, we are expecting that children (both relatives and non-relatives) will be going house to house to ask for Christmas presents. Either money or food will actually do for them, as long as you hand them something as a form of gift, it is really okay.
We had a practical idea regarding this matter. For us to save money without compromising the needs of the small kids, we opted to prepare a small present for them – candies and chocolates. We simply attach a small ribbon unto it and hang them in the Christmas tree located on our small veranda.
The plan is to have the children pick the “fruits†from the tree and hope that they’ll be happy.
One variant of chocolates we bought for this gimmick is the Cadbury Dairy Milk Strawberry Yoghurt. It is just one of our favorites simply because it is smooth in my tongue plus it does not melt in my hand but in my mouth. The strawberry flavor gives the chocolate flavor a good twist. Also, it is something that the kids in our town would really like – chocolate and strawberries.
