Music for me is a form of therapy. It lifts me when I'm down and helps me soar when it's really good. Three Dog Night has been my favorite group since their debut in 1969. Chuck Negron was one of 3 lead singers with that band and is a solo artist today. His falsetto voice can be heard on songs such as "Joy To The World", (also known as "Jeremiah Was A Bullfrog"), "Easy To Be Hard" and "One".
In 1996, Chuck released a Christmas cd, though I was not aware of it until about 3 years ago. I found it online and the price was reasonable, so I ordered it. I remembered Chuck's amazing voice from his time with Three Dog Night and figured this cd would have to be pretty good. As it turns out, it's terrific.
Chuck puts his own touch on such classics as "White Christmas, O Come All Ye Faithful" and several others. He begins the cd with a beautiful rendition of "When You Wish Upon a Star" and ends with a haunting performance of "Alleluia". Those two songs alone are worth the cost of the cd. I have never seen this cd in a store so I recommend you check ebay, half.com, buy.com or any other music sites. You won't be sorry.
