There are many credit card companies out and they all have their own sales pitch to try and get you to own one of their cards. Some examples I can think of are Cash rebates, discount on gas, airmiles, low interest, and my personal favorite: price-matching cash refund. This service is provided by my Citi bank master card.

Citi bank has a great reputation, and is one of the largest banks in the world. The citibank master card currently offers one year of 0.9% interest. After the twelve months, the interest resumes to the standard 19.5%. The feature I was talking about is neat. It is a price matching feature, which allows you to take claim a refund from citi bank if you find an item you've bought with the card has gone down in price within the one month. I think it's nice thing to know because this way you do not have to shop around as much. Just buy knowing that if there is a lwoer price you will get that one when you see it. However there is an annual limit of 500 dollars claim. That's still not too bad. The great thing about this card is, there is no annual fee. Although there is no sign-up offer, it doesn't matter. Credit card is a long term thing.

As well, the Citibank cards allow for free photo ID upgrade. Basically if you send a picture of yourself to the bank, they will send you back a credit card with your pohoto attached to it. It really doesnt hurt to have this kind of extra feature for safety.

Overall, the Citibank credit card is great. It has great interest for the first 12 months, it has a great offer: pricematch. I think it's a worthwhile card to have.
