If you've read any of my other published articles, you'll know that I have very sensitive skin and have battled with skin problems for the past few years. I've had prescription gels, creams, tablets... you name it, I've tried it at some time in my life!
So, skin treatment is one thing... but what's the point in purifying your skin, when all you do is put make up on and counteract all your hard work?
Well, after testing tonnes of different brands of foundations - from the so-called mineral foundations, to the air brush effect, mousse and powders... I just couldn't find a brand that didn't make my skin worse!
My sister, being a beauty therapist for one of the most well-known salons in town recommended I try the Clarins range that she promotes as being the best. She advised me that the liquid foundation was oil free(oil being my biggest enemy!), and included an SPF sun care formula, which would be an added benefit against ageing.
Feeling a little 'ripped off' I trusted my sister, and went for the Truly Matt, colour number 11. The product was surprisingly smooth and silky, yet not greasy. It glided on my face easily with minimal effort. The only grudge I have against this product, is that the bottle doesn't last longer than a couple of months... and £26 every couple of months would be an expense!
After using the product for a number of years now, my skin has been oil-balanced and healthy looking. At the beginning, I received many compliments regarding my skin clearness, and healthiness, which made me feel great!
I'd suggest this product to anyone but would highlight the fact that it doesn't last as long as one would like it to!
