When I ran out of the facial soap, I got into the habit of using bar soap instead. I just never could remember to buy the good stuff when I went shopping. The soap we use wasn't drying my skin, but I didn't feel like it was helping it either, especially using it on my face.
On my last grocery-shopping trip, I finally remembered to pick up some facial wash. I spent at least 5-10 minutes looking for just the right formula for my skin type. Most of the facial soaps in a grocery store are for acne and oil control. Didn't need that... I eventually decided on Clean and Clear Foaming Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin. I still was a bit skeptical because it was displayed alongside the acne treatment products.
I used the Clean and Clear that evening to wash my makeup off. Wow! My face felt so soft, I almost felt like I didn't need to put a moisturizer on! I do have sensitive skin, so I have to be careful about not using a product that is too harsh. Clean and Clear did what it claims... gently cleansed my makeup away without drying my skin. It's oil-free too, which I like because my facial skin can't handle anything too heavy.
In the past, I've used high priced facial cleansers, and they haven't impressed me as much as the Clean and Clear product. With the others, I never felt like my face was clean; there was a residue was left behind. Clean and Clear did a fine job of cleansing and making my skin feel soft. Good stuff!!
