nCleaner is much like CCleaner only with many more features. Like CCleaner, nCleaner removes unneeded files from your computer to free up disk space. Unlike CCleaner, however, nCleaner allows you to uncheck specific files that you do not want removed. This was a problem about CCleaner I did not like, so this is a plus for nCleaner. nCleaner supports the removal of unneeded files from far more programs and offers several more specific cleaning categories than CCleaner. nCleaner is also capable of cleaning the registry as well, although, unlike CCleaner, I always carefully check what it plans to remove and uncheck anything I'm unsure of.
My favorite feature of nCleaner is its tweak mode. This allows you to easily make performance changes and privacy changes to your computer. Setting nCleaner to modify system settings for performance can produce some notable improvements for your computer. Privacy mode allows you to disable certain feature of Windows to protect your privacy both on your computer and over the internet. Clicking on an item will display a description off to the side which is very useful if you don't know what it is.
nCleaner also contains a startup manager to prevent certain programs from loading at startup. There is also a free space shredder which will prevent deleted files from being recovered. nCleaner also contains a real time monitor to automatically free up disk space and memory should they reach a certain point. I don't have any experience using the real time monitors as my computer has no space or memory problems, so I can't say just how well they perform.
