L'Occitane's "Mousse de Vanilliers" Bath and Shower Gel can give you a wonderfully fragrant bath or shower (it works well as a bubble bath for the ultimate experience). If it comes from L'Occitane, you can be fairly sure it's a great product, and this is no exception.
The smell is wonderful without being overwhelming, and the bubbles and lather are great. L'Occitane describes it as "the sensual and delicately flowery fragrance of vanilla, " but their writers may be paid by the word. Seriously, it's a great fragrance. My only complaint is that it uses sodium laureth sulfate to produce the lather, which is a chemical that can irritate sensitive skin like mine. The cost is $20 for 8.4 ounces, which also is not in its favor.
I gave it 4 of the 5 possible stars because of the potential irritating factor; all things consider, I'd rather buy a 16 ounce bottle of Vanilla shower gel from puritycosmetics for $15, and know that my skin will be pampered and moisturized, than come up with the $20 for almost half the product that could dry and irritate my skin.
