Having hardwood floors throughout my entire house, and having a lot of wood paneling as well, I needed a good cleaner specifically designed for wood. Growing up, I remembered Mom using Murphy's Oil Soap on her cabinets and paneling, so I thought I'd give it a try myself.
The scent of this product is very pleasant. It is not overwhelming, but rather a light, clean scent. Very friendly to the nose.
The product I use mosts comes in a concewntrated form, meaning it needs to be added to water for use. It takes very little of the product to clean a large area. I can clean all of the wood in my house. One 32oz. bottle lasts me approximately two months and I use it every week on all of my wood surfaces.
Another plus to this product is that after using it aand nothing else on my wood floors for 4 months now, I have actually seen an imporvement in the appearance of my floors. My once very dull and lifeless floors are really beginning to show signs of new-found life.
On the downside, as every product has them, because it is an oil based soap, it does take longer to dry than many other floor cleaning products. If too much of the product is used, over time, a buildup becomes visible. The solution is simply to follow the einstructions on the bottle as for how much to use.
Overall, I think this is a great product for all wood surfaces in the home and I would defiantely recommend it to all.
