When we wanted to change our kitchen appliances, my boyfriend really wanted a glass-ceramic cooktop on our stove instead of a radiant one. I wasn't really keen about this as my mom has one and hates it because it takes forever to clean. The clerk at the store told us about Cerama Bryte made by Golden Ventures inc. Cerama Bryte is a white liquid which quickly removes stains. Well, quickly might be a big word but it does remove the stains after you rub the glass-ceramic cooktop for a few minutes.Cerama Bryte is recommanded for GE, Whirlpool, Maytag, Hotpoint, Amana, Frigidaire, JennAir, Viking and Kenmore stoves. This product is safe for all radiant and halogen glass-ceramic cooktops.
It is very easy to use Cerama Bryte. To use, shake the bottle first then apply Cerama Bryte directly to cool cooktop and rub lightly with a soft cloth or paper towel. I use paper towel. Dry surface with a soft cloth or paper towel. Once it's seems to be clean, I prefer to wash the cooktop with a wet paper towel then I dry it. Otherwise, it always seems to have a small white powder on the cooktop.
Cerama Bryte is also safe and effective for cleaning stainless steel sinks, cultured marble sinks, porcelain sinks, glass shower doors, fiberglass, bathing units, glass cookware and pots and pans.
Cerama Bryte does not contain phosphates and was not tested on animals. The product comes in a 28oz container. So far, I like this product as I haven't found another product that removes the stains from glass-ceramic cooktop as quickly as Cerama Bryte.
