I am not a big fan of toners and astringents since they seem to always leave my skin so dry and tight feeling, but beauty resources always seem to recommend them as part of a skin care routine so I tried several types that I did not like. This one though I really like since it attacks blackheads without drying out skin. I find I can use this even if I use other products that might peel or dry my skin. The smell is pleasant, especially considering that it has salcylic acid in it, and it does not sting at all. I really like how it keeps areas like my chin and nose blackhead free. You can see an immediate reduction in the size of your pores which is impressive for such a reasonably priced product. It does a good job removing makeup on the face and traces of oil. It is good for sensitive skin and removes lots of dirt that remains even after washing my face.
