I'll bet a bunch of you already belong to Club Pogo! It's a pretty unique web site gaming world where you go in, pick a game you want to play out of about a hundred (or maybe more) games, and play in an effort to win badges, tokens, prizes, and possibly money! It's a lot of fun and you get to chat during each of te games, making new friends along the way. Some of the games require two or more players (or you can play against the computer), so you can either invite your friends to join or make new friends playing along with them. You can have a long distance game of Monopoly with your aunt 100 miles away!
Pogo itself is free, but you only have access to a limited number of their games and you do not win "badges" or as much money in some cases, but it's still a great time. When you join the club, it's $39.99 for a year of unlimited play. When you are a member, you have access to members only rooms and all the games. You also win your badges-there are typically 2 weekly challenges, where you have to do a certain number of things to get your badge. Once yo uhave it, you can proudly display it next to your name in the name list in the room you are in. If you don't get your badge for that week, don't worry! You can go a few weeks later and try for it again. The tokens you win can be applied to dress your "Pogo Mini", a likeness of yourself (or anything you want really) with different outfits and items to show your personality. The tokens can also be applied to drawings they have daily, weekly, and monthly for money.
The games range from several types of solitaire to card games like poker and spades to puzzle games, word games, and strategy games. They have casino and bingo, too!
Overall, you need to go in there and check it out for yourself. I suggest trying just plain free Pogo first, then if you like it, join the club! It's www.pogo.com. See you there!
