I recently purchased a Coleman Twin Size Quickbed. It turns out this airbed does not come with its own pump so I had to buy one.
When looking at the different types of pumps the store had three kinds. One was a manual pump like the type we used to use to inflate a bicycle tire. It look like it would take quite a while to inflate the bed with this so I looked at the electric pumps. I like the idea of an electric pump because it’s quick and efficient. However, there were only two electric pumps in the store and both of them look like someone had tried them and then returned them to the store. I generally don’t like to buy anything that looks like someone else has used it because I am afraid there’s something wrong with that product.
The pump I ended up buying is a Coleman Quickpump. This pump requires four D batteries (not included) for it to work. It is advertised to be a universal pump that will work on all single and double high airbeds. It not only inflates beds, but it also deflates the bed when needed or you can manually deflate the bed.
The Coleman Quickpump as a one year limited warranty.
This pump works well. It inflated the bed in a minute or two. Read the short instructions on bed and pump and that will make this pump easy to use. I was pleased with this pump. My only suggestion would be if you’re going to inflate and deflate this bed a lot it would probably pay you to get an electric pump or buy a bed that already includes an electric pump as the cost of batteries can be pricey.
