I recently purchased an airbed. The one I bought is the type used primarily for camping. It is a Coleman Twin Size Quickbed with carry bag.
This bed does not come with a pump so you have to buy that separately. The pumps for these types of beds come in three types manual, battery powered or one that runs on electricity.
The Coleman Twin Size Quickbed measures 74" x 39" x 8.5" when inflated.
It has a 32 coil system for decent comfort. The bottom of the bed seems to be very heavy vinyl and the top of the bed is made of a soft suede like material.
It is advertised to be leak free.
This bed can be used indoor or outdoor.
It comes with a one year limited warranty.
The Coleman Twin Size Quickbed was easy to inflate with a battery powered pump I bought. I tried out the bed and found it was fairly comfortable. For added comfort I put a sheet and a blanket on it and the person using it can lay on top of the sheet and blanket. This adds a little more padding but you would not have to do that.
I have only used it indoors so far. It seems to be holding the air and I am pleased with the quality.
This size bed can be bought with an electric pump included but I wanted a Coleman bed and they did not have one with pump included at that time. This twin bed also comes in a double high variety that is about 16 inches high when inflated.
Update On Jul 02, 2010: I have had this air mattress about 8 months it has stayed inflated since I have had it and has been used by kids and adults. Very good quality.
