Recently I began to notice the rooms in our house looked like they needed some fresh paint. So while shopping and looking at paints we came upon a color for the trim in one room that we thought would be a nice change of pace. Now all we had to do was find the right paint to go with the color. We ended up choosing WalMart's ColorPlace Interior Latex Semi-Gloss Wall & Trim Paint.
One of the reasons we picked this paint is it can be tinted to just about any color you can imagine whether it be a dark color or a light color or sowhere in between those two. I had used Walmart's paint before but not this brand. It was advertised to be washable, lasting and stain resistant. That is the qualities I look for in a paint. The can also claimed this would go on easy and be easy to clean up afterwards. It comes in either the gallon cans or the smaller 29 fl oz can which is almost 2 pints. The can also claims this paint has a 15 year warranty but its a limited warranty.
Overall, this paint seems a bit thin to me. I had to go over some areas twice. I thought it might be the painting supplies but I tried brushes and rollers and I still had to go over areas twice. It seems like a good paint other than the thiness but it could use to be a little thicker. The color is nice and its nice that it is washable if need be. I also like the fact it does clean up pretty easy during painting if you drip some of the paint.
