I recently had a gift certificate to JC Penny's. I was originally going to spend it on my two girls. But then I thought about it, I do not buy things for myself and I really needed a new pair of shoes for work. The original cost is $59.95, it was on sale for $39.95.

I work on my feet, during 12hour shifts. So I buy new shoes every 3 months or so. Always depends if I have the extra money to spend or not. Well this was a great buy for me, so I paid exactly $9.95 for these shoes. It was a perfect time to use that certificate.

Well on to the shoes, they are super light. So wether you run or you use them for work this shoe is a good fit. I learned long ago to get shoes that were light, you have less fatigue to your leg muscles. The sole of the shoes is non marking. The heal has gel in the sole for a more comfortable fit.

The colors for me were perfect, it is a shade of turquoise and green, on silver material. And of course it has the trade-mark ASICS design on it.

If I could have, I would have purchsed two pairs. I have tried several brands and I am a person who usually stays true to that brand, but I was looking to try something else to see if it would help my legs and feet from getting tired or hurting after a long day at work. So far these shoes have been able to withstand the 12 hour shifts and have not broken down at all. They are about 2 months old now and I still think they are comfortable.

I think I now have two brands I can choose from, depending on sales.
