Having owned a couple different bikes I have to say the VTX is probably my favorite. I was a sport bike guy, that was until my wife came along….she loves to ride the sport bike were not comfortable for either of us while two up. I came across the VTX 1300 while searching for a new bike we could both ride. Being an ex sport bike rider I wanted the sporty look, some good power, comfort. I found it all in the VTX 1300C. With a large saddle for the driver and a fairly generous seat for the pylon two can easily ride this bike. With the addition of a passenger back rest (sissy bar) my wife no longer even holds on to me during rides, she just sits back and relaxes. I also can’t complain about the looks of the VTX either, it has a nice sports look, lots of chrome (though much of what looks like chrome on the engine are chrome like plastic covers, you can’t tell without touching them). I think one definite addition that is needed on at least my VTX are some saddle bags, with the tank and engine area being so wide the rear on the bike looks kind of naked without them. Now to my favorite part of the bike, the power! A 1300cc V-Twin engine pumps out some crotch shaking power, delivered to the rear wheel via a drive shaft. Having had chain driven rides before I love the drive shaft, very low maint. With the addition of some nice exhaust pipes the 1300 will have your Harley buddies blushing too.
