Last April 2009, the professional organization where I was a member, held its Annual Convention at SMX Mall of Asia in Pasay City, Philippines, that lasted for three days. Delegates came from all over the Philippines and were accommodated at the nearby hotels. Trader's Hotel is a four star hotel, along Roxas Blvd. in front of CCP Complex, is few minutes drive from the airport (NAIA) and from SMX convention venue. It was the hotel allocated for me by the sponsors. I shared a room with a collegue.
The room was spacious, has 2 seater sofa and coffee table, 2 beds. There's a flat TV on top of long credenza (in front of the beds) about three meters long with spacious drawer for folders and on another drawer contains hair dryer and sewing kit, with a mirror and has free internet connection for laptop. The sewing kit was very useful for me that time because I was able to sew the loosen hook of my skirt. Above all mentioned, what I liked most in the room was the hotel provided a flat iron and foldable ironing table neatly kept inside the closet, and a small vault for valuables also inside the closet. I appreciate the idea of providing ironing table and flat iron because I was able to press my business attire that was slightly wrinkled inside the luggage.
The breakfast, in buffet style, was great and generous enough to fuel you for the busy day. There are many food options. You can choose among cereals, pastries, heavy breakfast meal with rice, meat, fruits and vegetables salads, etc. Hotel staffs are also courteous. I was not able to explore the other amenities inside the hotel because I spent the whole day in the convention.
