Since I first began working as a teenager, I've had a bank account. Most of those years I used Commerce Bank and that is who I am using now.
Commerce has generally been a good bank to deal with. They've never given me any problems, though they've messed up a couple of times. The issues were resolved with little delays.
With free checks and online bill pay, I don't spend anything for their services, other than letting them borrow my money. As low as interest rates are now, I'm not missing much. Money orders are free also.
There are several Commerce Bank branches within a short drive of my home, which makes banking less of a hassle. The people are always nice and willing to help. While going through their drive through last week, the teller pointed out a way that I could be earning a better return on my savings. I had simply gone there to deposit a check and he took it upon himself to print out information and sent it to me after he asked if I'd be interested. He wasn't pushing me to do anything, simply letting me know of options I wasn't aware of.
I love being able to log onto my computer and see in an instant what my account balances are and how much has been paid out and where it went. It's so simple.
Now, if I could just figure out how to withdraw cash from my accounts through my computer.
