Compaq presario V3908TU is a reliable notebook for me. I got it from my uncle so I don't really know the price. But in internet the price is appoximately $700. It's a fair price if you compare it with the same notebook with the same specs and feature

It uses a Core2Duo Processor with intel chipset. The clock(speed) of the processor is 2.0 GHz. the RAMis 1 GB but it is upgradable to 4 GB. In this laptop, you can install either 32 bit OS or 64 bit OS. now I use Microsoft Windows XP 32 bit, so the speed is relative fast.

The size of the HDD is quite big, 160 GB. But I think it's quite not big enough to store all of my music, pictures and videos. but luckily I can burn it to DVD because this notebook have DVD RW with dual layer DVD support.

It has 3 USB ports. and the wireless is a, b, and g, and it doesn't support n wireless. If you turn on the wireless and the bluetooth, the battery life is become more short. When I got it, the battery is 6 cells but it still upgradable to 12 cells so it can last longer. the quality of the webcam is standard but it is enough to video call.

The resolution is 1280 x 800 the ratio is wide screen and it is big enough to display all the information. The speaker is Altec Lansing but I don't really like it because the quality of the sound can decreased if you turn the speaker out loud.

I think it is enough to share some of my experiences using this notebook. If you want to buy a notebook but don't have a lot of money, I think this notebook is enough to back up all of your computing experiences. And I think this notebook is really reliable.
