Verizon didn't use to be what it is today. I've had the unlimited long distance with Verizon linked with my local service for years. The price has always been competitive and I've never had a problem with that. However, their customer service use to be horrible! It use to be impossible to get a "real person" and when you finally did, they weren't helpful at all. Instead they were frustrating.
In the past two years, Verizon has done a complete turn-around and I think they have definitely become one of the main leaders in customer service! It's very easy and straight forward if you'd like to get a "real person", but they have the automated features too in case it's not necessary to talk to a representative. When you do talk to a representative, they are very helpful and courteous. I would recommend Verizon to anyone!
