We bought the Conair Ultra Messaging Foot Spa to help with sore feet and ankles as well as just to use as a comfort item. It can be used as both cold therapy and as a warm massage. I comes with 5 different attachments, a remote control, has two massaging rollers and 2 Loofah disks. While there were many products to choose from this one seems to work well.
The positives about the foot spa include the light weight, the adjustable feet, the 11 different spa settings and the various attachments. It is made of plastic and is very light weight. The plastic cover which serves as a splash guard is also removable to make filling and emptying easier. The legs have adjustable feet so one can raise or lower the spa to make it more comfortable wherever one chooses to sit. Perhaps the best part though is the amount of different settings. One can choose to have a cold soak, use the vibration mode, have bubbles, heat, water jet, air power, or any combination of these. The attachments are also nice and snap easily onto the center of the spa. One can soak one foot while placing the other on the rotating attachment.
The negatives for this spa would be the limit length of the cord and the duration of the heat. The cord is only about 2 feet long and so obviously you need to have an outlet very near to where you want to sit. The heating feature supplies only a limited amount of heat, and if you want the water to be warm you are best served to fill it with warm or hot water. While it stays warm for awhile, the heat is constantly being reduced from the water.
This spa also comes with a remote control. This may be a nice feature for some as they do not have to lean down to change the setting of the spa. Personally I found it easier to just lean over and push the buttons right on the front of the spa rather than try and find batteries and worry about losing the small remote.
Overall this was a nice product which was priced comparably to others. You can find much more deluxe models at a greater price, but the strength of the jets in this spa work just fine. It serves the purpose nicely for what we needed it for.
