I got this cleaner as a stocking stuffer for Christmas one year and it's worked very well. It's called Connoisseurs Jewelry Cleaner and it comes in a plastic cylinder with a basket at the bottom to dunk and lift jewelry in and out of the solution as well as a small brush to scrub your jewelry. I've used it on everything from diamond necklaces, rings, and earrings, to silver and cheaper jewelry. It cleans very well, soaking and loosening and debris, then when you use the medium bristle brush to scrub, it wipes the debris away. A quick rinse under cool water and a pat dry and your jewelry looks like new!
I especially love this cleaner because of my diampnd earrings. I tend to leave them in for days at a time and they quickly start to look icky. I can use this cleaner to loosen the stuff in between the diamond and the mount, then the bristles on the brush are JUST strong enough to clear out anything that has built up there. Every time I do this, the diamonds return to their original sparkle! These are very important to me because they are the earrings my husband gave me just a few short months before he passed away. This cleaner has been gentle enough, but also effective enough to keep these looking almost like new-even after 9 years! I storngly reccomend this product to anyone looking for a good cleaner that is also gentle enough to use on your "good stuff" :)
