My coffee pot had seen better days, and I had finally had enough of it leaking all over my counter top every time I made a pot of coffee. I stopped by Dollar General specifically to purchase another coffee pot. The only one they had in stock was a Continental 12 cup pot model. It is very basic and white. It was ten dollars and it included a permanent coffee filter, which costs around five bucks on its own at Walmart.

I did not mind that this is a no frills coffee pot. what I do mind is, I absolutely cannot pour a cup of coffee without making a huge mess. I swear for each cup I pour, another cup dribbles on the counter. The design of the pot itself is terrible and is destined for spills and messes. Also this coffee pot is impossible to keep clean. It always looks dingy and somehow brewed coffee ends up all over the unit, including the top where you pour in water. Before you touch the pot of coffee you have a mess.

I am really dissatisfied with this cheap coffee pot, and I am just about to take it to my local Salvation Army as a donation. I would not recommend purchaing this coffee pot from Dollar General.
