During my baby's baptism, we had a couple of cakes and a centerpiece of cookie candies. They are called cookie candies because they are actually made of cookies but they have candied icing on one side that are designed to match the motiff of the party. A popsicle stick is then inserted in the cookie and the cookie is wrapped in clear plastic and tied with a colorful ribbon.
The people at D' Bakers are also very creative that they can make any shape imaginable, or at least they can make molds for them.
For my daughter's baptism, we chose the baby bouquet design. For $6, we got 12 pieces of cookies of different designs, there was a bottle, a rattle, a crib, a baby, a doll, etc. All in pink and white. They are sooo adorable. Many people asked if we were giving them away, I said no, because I kept them for awhile before eating them. lol I loved their cookie candies! Anyway, our 12 cookies were arranged like a bouquet with stand. The stand was wrapped with pink cloth wrapper and tied with beads! It is soooo lovely! And it is really cheap, considering that it comes with an arrangement.
Anyway, a friend of mine also threw a birthday party for his son and the giveaways were also cookie candies from the same supplier but this time the cookies were shaped like the head of Mickey Mouse. And they were able to match the colors too! Cool!
Their cookies are not limited to these kiddie stuff. It can be given by men to their women, etc. They have different motiffs and colors and arrangements. They can also custom make them. Very nice cookie candies!
