I bought this because I have tons of magazines lying around and piled up in my closet because I like to use the recipes in them. I thought it would be great to be able to finally rid myself of the clutter and have them all on the computer.
The program was great! It was so easy to figure out. You can organize all of your recipes by cookbook or magazine, and then by chapter or type. I was dreading typing out all of my recipes, because I really do have TONS of them, but the program actually finishes your words for you, and when this works right you can imput information really fast (but when it thinks you are trying to put something in that is different from what you want to put in, it can end up taking longer than just typing). All in all, I'm coming along nicely putting my recipe collection in. Haven't completely finished yet, but I'm getting there.
There are some really cool features in this program. You can make grocery lists, calculate nutritional content, and email recipes. They also have a database of recipes you can take and add to your collection.
I am a little nervous with this program, because I know I am getting a new computer next month, and I am afraid I'm going to have to type all my recipes in again once I load it onto the new computer. So, before I entered in too many recipes, I talked to their tech support. They were very nice and helpful and emailed me instructions to transfer my recipes.
I'm glad I bought this. It's going to free up a lot of space in my house and make my life a lot easier!
