My youngest asked Santa for a Transformer this year, what a surprise LOL. As any parent knows who had to search for those for Christmas, if you didn't act early it was too late. Somehow in my early Christmas shopping I totally forgot about the Transformer.

While out to try and finish up my shopping I came across a toy called a Magnaformer, kind of a cross between a Transformer and Magnetix. It was the only one left, and figuring it was about the closest thing I was going to get to the Transformer I snatched it up.

On Christmas morning my son was very excited when he opened it, he was ok that it wasn't an actual Transformer.

I opened it and put it together for him, first as the car, now I haven't been the one to do the Transformers, my husband has put them all together, but I found it pretty easy to put together...at first. As soon as I got to the part of putting the frame onto the car I found that the pieces just didn't stay on very well. I think the problem is something as simple as the placing of the magnets. It looks very cool, but just doesn't stay together very good. I have noticed that it definitely is not getting played with like the Transformers do.
