I saw the Swivel Sweeper on television and on eBay so I thought I would give it a try after seeing it on a shelf at my local CVS Pharmacy store. I was able to purchase it at a discount since I had a CVS coupon.

I was impressed with the packaging because the box has a convenient handle on the outside. When I brought it home there was no problem opening it and the contents were neatly arranged. It took less than 10 minutes to read through the instructions and set it up. I only had to charge it overnight and by morning after the children ate their breakfast and left crumbs all over the floor I was ready to use it. I noticed that for any wet food item, it won't pick up as well, if not at all, but dry items no problem. Since then I have used it for cereal, rice, sugar, and spaghetti - all items were dry when picked up.

The rechargeable battery easily slips down into its compartment. I vacuumed not only the tile floors with the Swivel Sweeper, but the carpet too! It is lightweight and the vacuum head turns with ease. Upon turning it over I notice that the carpet fibers were entangled in the brushes which didn't prevent it from working, but it did require me to clean them out with a small tool that was included in the box. I decided I would prefer to use it on the tiled floors, so that I didn't have to clean the carpet fibers out of the brushes everytime. However, it did pick up the crumbs on the carpet, but left some things behind. It is better on the tiled floor. I also found that the bagless tray is small that stores the crumbs and if you are not careful you can easily break it putting it back on the vacuum after your done dumping it. The tray as well as the outside of the vacuum is all plastic. It does collect alot of dust so you will need to clean it periodically inside and out. I also found that if you don't leave the battery on over 24 hours in the charger like the directions say, you shouldn't have any problem with the battery over time.

You will know when the vacuum needs to be fully charged again because it will lose its power. I don't recommend using it if you have someone in the house who sleeps lightly, its somewhat loud but not deafening. Otherwise, a very good product for someone who is looking for an item that will pick up crumbs fast without you having to bend over or broom sweep!
