I really dislike the greasy feel and perfumy smell of most skin lotions. I would rather deal with the dry skin. Then I discovered Corn Huskers Lotion.
It is not greasy at all; it is water and glycerin based, and quickly soaks in to dry skin. I have used it on my hands, of course, but also on my face, arms and legs. I’ve been using it for years, and it is still my favorite brand. I find it surprisingly refreshing to rub on my eyelids after a day of working outside. I have even used it on my lips when chap stick was not handy. I sure wouldn’t care to do that with one of the heavily scented brands.
It has a light clean odor that does not annoy me at all.
However, because it is water based, if you get your skin wet soon after applying it reduces the effect.
It comes in bottles with a screw top, not a pump-style, and when the amount gets low you really have to lay the bottle on its side or wait a long time for the lotion to come out because it is very thick.
Corn Huskers is made by Pfizer.
