My haircolor of choice: Loreal Paris Couleur Experte Express. It is a two-in-one multi-tonal color system. My preferred color: 6.4 red (Ginger Twist Light Golden Copper Brown). This is a permanent color system. Recently Loreal has updated its packaging and ingredients. The ingredients are not as harsh to the skin as the past product. Plan an hour to use this system. I don't always use the second step (highlighting). Sometimes I just throw it away and have full color with no highlights. What's nice is you can change it up whenever you want another look. The highlighting can be done for subtle highlights or chunking. You can have alot or few depending on your preference. This haircolor system is very easy to use. I get just the perfect color with Experte. I tried some other haircolor brands and just didn't get that right natural-looking color. Some colors would be too dark or not cover well. I believe I will be sticking with this color system from now on. You just can't miss with it. The combination of the color and highlights really looks nice. It takes about a half hour to color then 15-20 minutes for the highlights. There is an easy glide applicator for applying the mixture to highlight the hair. I never use it. I have gloves on and just pick the mixture up and using my fingers, apply to the strands. This way is much easier and faster. It works! The box states "not recommended for black hair'. You have many colors to choose from Couleur Experte. Give it a try!
