This is the most powerfully scented candle I’ve ever owned, and it’s delightful. The cute little “Mason” jar is attractive too.
This candle is made by the Old Williamsburgh Candle Company of Brooklyn, New York. It comes in gardenia, vanilla, honeydew, mulberry, black cherry, apple tart, and oatmeal raisin. The honeydew scented one was given to me as a gift. One distributor is Walgreen Drugstores, where the candles retail for about $1 to $1.50 each.
Sometimes I just open the jar to take a sniff without even lighting the candle, it has such a wonderful aroma. The color of mine is a soft green, slightly lighter than the inside of a Honeydew melon.
The wick burns cleanly, and the entire room quickly fills with fragrance.
The container is a fake half-pint glass Mason jar. The design is very similar to the Mason logo, but the M is different. This appears on three sides, and measurement markings are on the fourth side. The lid is a standard metal screw-on lid in regular canning jar size and threading, so the jar could conceivably be used for jelly after the candle was gone if it were cleaned well.
