Over the past few months I have started to notice a few grey hairs here and there, so I have been buying hair dyes to cover them, I was pleasently surprised when I found a hair dye in a pound store, it's the Pro colour plus which comes in several shades which for me I chose the light brown, this is my natural colour and cause I am not to adventurous I wanted a colour quite close to my natural shade.
According to the box this dye is a long lasting colour, natural looking, permanent and cover grey hairs 100%, just what I was looking for. I was really eager to get started with the hair dye but having read several reviews on how badly people have reacted to hair dyes I did the 48 hour sensitivity test, Which turned out fine, although my skin did turn black, but the blackness came off easily enough with soap and water, then I was ready to go, inside the box was a pair of gloves, 45ml tube of hair colour cream, 45ml bottle of developer and an instruction leaflet.
The instructions are easy to follow, and putting the dye in is quite simple, brush the hair, damp it but do not shampoo unless you have used any other hair products, once this is done using the gloves provided mix the colour cream with the developer, shake well and apply to the hair in the usual way, then wait 30 minutes after this apply a small amount of water masage the dye into the hair and rinse your hair until the water runs clear and hopefully you have the result you want.
The dye doesn't smell any better or worse than other dyes I have used, I used my own conditioner once the colour was applied and this helped to get rid of the small of the hair dye. Anyway once I had the colour in I was impressed the colour was fine, slightly darker than my natural colour, but nothing to complain about and best of all the grey hairs are all covered.
The main reason for buying this hair dye was to cover my grey hairs, this dye has managed that, so for £1.00 I am really pleased with this product!! Highly recommended.
