Even with the grander influx of anime on the west and the massive popularity of other series, Cowboy Bebop is still considered by many to be the best anime series of all-time. Cowboy Bebop the movie fits right into the series in terms of placement, though if you’ve never seen the series before the movie will still make complete sense.
After an incident on a highway involving a chemical tanker’s explosion, everyone is introduced to their latest bounty. However, Vincent turns out to be more than just a common terrorist or any criminal that was faced before. Armed with ideals forged in war and an immunity to virtually anything things turn out to be more interesting than previously thought.
Yoko Kanno and the Seatbelts provide an excellent soundtrack as always and there isn’t a dull moment throughout the entire movie.
