I recently bought Crest 3D White Advanced Vivid toothpaste. My teeth aren't really stained too bad, but I thought it would be nice to whiten them up some. This toothpaste claims to remove up to 90% of surface stains in 14 days and protect against future stains. Just like most toothpastes, Crest 3D White says to use it at least twice a day. They claim you'll see whiter teeth within 14 days of regular use but I actually decided to give it 20 days to see if it would work or not.

I'm sorry to say that I don't feel that Crest 3D White has improved the color of my teeth at all. I can't tell any difference and they seem to be the same shade they were before.

So this toothpaste didn't live up to its claim of removing 90% of surface stains, but there are still some positive things to mention about this product.

It has a pleasant mint taste, which is always a plus. Most toothpastes have a pleasant taste but I have used some in the past that really had a horrible taste. I have also noticed that my teeth feel cleaner for longer. The toothpaste I was using before did a pretty good job at cleaning my teeth but not even halfway through the day my teeth and mouth would feel kind of grimy again. I didn't think much of it at the time (I just assumed that was normal due to eating throughout the day). But I have noticed that Crest 3D White seems to make my mouth feel cleaner longer. I'm not sure why it would have that effect. (Maybe it has something to do with the fact that they claim it prevents future stains?)

So to sum everything up, Crest 3D White did not seem to remove stains from my teeth at all (even though I gave it a full 20 days to see if it would make a difference) but it is a good general toothpaste and it seems to make my mouth feel cleaner pretty much all day.
