The Cricket Paygo phones and accounts can be very convenient for those who are trying to save money and not wanting to sign a contract. You can get all of the features that are offered by major phone companies such as internet, texting, picture messaging, and unlimited calling. The phones are not the greatest and there isn't a whole lot of variety offered in the choices, but the daily rate plans are pretty good. There is an option of choosing a $40/month plan which includes unlimited everything, including internet and directory assistance, or if you don't use your phone that much you also have the option of their $1/$2/$3 a day plans that you only have to pay for when you use your phone. I have had many cell phone providers and Cricket Paygo has by far been the cheapest and most convenient. To top up the balance you can get a Cricket phone card from an authorized dealer, or you can go to Wal Mart or Walgreens. If you don't have time to do that, you can conveniently call *PAY on your Paygo phone and top up with a minimum of a dollar with a major credit card. The plans are also really nice. If you don't have enough money to pay $40 one month, or you have to wait a couple days, you can put a dollar on your phone and still have the unlimited calling features. The simpleness of changing your plan and payment methods makes this a good provider. Also, if you are young, you don't have to have a contract so anyone can get a Paygo phone no matter what age. It gives younger people the oppurtuinty to provide a cell phone for themselves and take on the responsibility of paying for it.
