I downloaded a free trial version of Cubis Gold, an arcade game where you remove combinations of colored cubes from the board by shooting more colored cubes at them. There are several different ways you can do that, but the basic principle is to have more than 2 cubes of the same color aligned together, then they will disappear. The game is three-dimentional: you can build these sequences of 3+ both horizontally and vertically. You see the next three cubes coming that will be available for you to shoot, so you can plan your strategy ahead, picking what chains you will build.
While the general concept is fun, there are things I don't like about this game. On each level you get a specified amount of cubes to shoot and a time limit. So you can be out of cubes before the time is up (that's annoying, I want to go on playing), or you can run out of time while you still have more cubes available (even more frustrating). I also do not like how long it takes to switch between levels, and I am not impressed with the music, it is plain boring.
The graphics are fine, and the increasing difficulty keeps the game challenging. However, keeping in minds the above mentioned drawbacks, I will rate it 3 out of 5.
